I can offer hunting in the middle of Kurzeme (Western part of Latvia). We (two hunters) own country house with full comfort level – (one) WC, shower, Sauna, TV, Internet. It is possible to accommodate up to 4 hunters. Hunting area is in the middle of swamps. In area is represented almost whole fauna of Latvia – wild boar, red deer, roe deer, beaver, red fox, raccoon dog, wolf, lynx, marten, badger / birds – woodgrouse, blackgrouse etc. The best time for wild boar hunting is August, when wild boar comes to fields of crops for nutrition. It is also possible to hunt wild boar any time of year, but with possible less success. End of October and November are good month for raccoon dog hunting before winter hibernation. It is possible to hunt raccoon dog whole year, but trophy will be not used. Beaver hunting is most successful in spring (March, April), but it could be associate with other hunt (season is from 15/07 – 15/04). In winter there is chance to hunt wolf (depends on luck). Hunters come to hunting area with own transport and food. Distances in area are not far – max 15km. So several hunters can use one car or go by foot. For hunters coming by plain (UK, USA, Canada etc.) it is possible to offer vehicle, weapon and if needed also accommodation before arriving in hunting area. Guests had to cover running costs – fuel, food etc. During hunting it is possible to arrange some entertainment program for possible accompanying persons depending on their interests – sightseeing, spa...
