Bow, shotgun or muzzleloader season for whitetail deer in Van Buren country Iowa. This area of Iowa has one of the greatest management and genetics of deer in North America. The Crush, Whitetail Freaks and many other hunting shows are filmed nearby due to the success of shooting a trophy whitetail. We will plant 35 acres of corn and 6 acres of turnips to ensure we can hold deer all year. In addition we have a 2 acre pond and a 40 acre lake for water source. I manage great cover with prairie grass planting, creating wind breaks and winter cover for whitetail. I have an elevated "box" blind with heat for that late season muzzleloader, hay bale blinds in crop field and 18 tree stands in great locations or hang your own stand. I also run trail cameras all year to determine activity. This is a 4 day guided hunt by me, meals and lodging not included but I do have several options within 10 minute drive to hunting property. If you have a second person we can discuss details. I would like to hunt Alligator or Cougar with Bow. No smokers allowed.
